Filemón Torres has a degree in Communications Engineering by Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) in Spain. He joined Lucent in 2000, becoming Alcatel-Lucent in 2007 and then Nokia in 2017. He has held different positions, always related to technology in different fields as Optical Communications, Transmission Networks, Mobile Core,  IP/MPLS networks, Packet Core and 5G core. Since 2020, his role is Core Solutions Consultant for Telefónica and South Europe Region in Nokia.
